The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority will introduce a new “microtransit” service in Rossford and two suburban zones on Monday and later plans to extend fixed-route buses to Springfield Township’s Spring Meadows area.
The new TARTAflex service will operate mainly in areas now covered by the transit authority’s Call-a-Ride buses, but use smaller vehicles and extend slightly farther west than Call-a-Ride now goes. TARTA plans a news conference later next week to formally announce its introduction, but rides will be available starting Monday.
