As the Transportation sector continues to become more dependent on access to the electric power grid, increased coordination between the transportation and energy sectors will lead to more efficient connected systems. At a Federal level, The Investment in Infrastructure and Jobs Act (IIJA) provides a framework for states to start planning for charging networks to support transportation electrification.

They will give examples of stakeholder coordination efforts, funding mechanisms, and the critical need to harness predictive analytics to optimize charging infrastructure investments.
