  • Mobility Management Basics—free, on-line modules on mobility management topics, including an introduction to mobility management
  • Managing Community Mobility (Offered by National Transit Institute). Two-day class that examines creative approaches to resolving fragmented and/or duplicative transportation systems to create a seamless and cost-efficient network with a customer-focused mindset. The course introduces the concept of mobility management, identifies funding resources for mobility management programs, teaches how to develop a Coordinated Public Transit and Human Service Transportation Plan Coordinated Plan, identifies resources to implement a mobility management program, and presents case studies of successful mobility management models.
  • Design Thinking for Mobility (Offered by the National Center for Mobility Management). An in-person 1- or 2-day training that introduces design thinking strategies that guide communities in pursuing a customer-centered approach to improving or innovating community transportation offerings, resulting in services that will be useful and used by community members.   • Transportation Solutions (Offered by the Community Transportation Association of America). An in-person, 1.5-day class that covers how to identify transportation services in the community; potential funding sources for transportation services and individual riders; how to respond to the transportation needs of specific populations; how to develop an individualized transportation plan for riders; how to identify and give voice to unmet transportation needs; and how to conduct training about transportation services for front-line staff in human service agencies.
