Long popular in Europe, interest in e-bikes is growing in the United States among both cyclists and environmentalists. E-bikes are reportedly up to 18 times more efficient than a car. It's time to fully embrace the merits the electric bike can bring to the United States: E-bikes significantly reduce carbon footprint, and both air and noise pollution and will certainly help to achieve environmentalists' eventual target goal of net-zero carbon emissions
