Healthier Together Oregon launches to help tackle social influences on health

Healthier Together Oregon was recently launched by the state to help Oregonians recover from COVID-19.

It's a four-year equity-focused health plan that is also aimed at social influences on health. The plan calls for declaring institutional racism a public health crisis, and it recommends ensuring access to culturally responsive prenatal and postnatal care for people with low incomes or without legal documentation.
