Public transit discount increases to 50 percent thanks to Sonoma County Board of Supervisors

Individuals who qualify for discounted Clipper cards through the START program will enjoy a new 50 percent discounted rate on single-ride transit fares thanks to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors.

The discount was raised from 20 to 50 percent in mid December for eligible adults earning below 200 percent of the federal poverty level and begins Jan. 1, 2024.
