Close to 2,000 jurisdictions across North America have adopted Complete Streets Policies and are rebuilding streets to promote safety for all users and to improve accessibility and create a more equitable roadway system. As practitioners look to implement these policies across a range of settings, much of the available precedent source material has focused on larger urban areas.
This webinar will acknowledge the innovative work occurring in rural and smaller communities and will provide relevant case studies spanning from a town of 2,600 population to small college towns and medium sized cities. The subject experts will report on a variety of strategies that were employed to move from policy guidance to design and implementation and will describe the strategies that led to project success.
