This webinar includes two presentations:
- The first, ‘Making Mobility-as-a-Service: Towards Governance Principles and Pathways’ by Göran Smith will outline the schools of thought that influence MaaS development, the factors which drive and hinder MaaS developments, and how different governance activities have shaped MaaS developments in Sweden, Finland and Australia thus far. It will conclude with principles and pathways in respect of implications for governance.
- The second presentation, ‘Bridging the MaaS Implementation Gap – the Queensland Approach’, by Paul Scott and Kate Mackay will present a review of the Queensland MaaS and mobility assessment framework, a practical decision making tool. It will describe the context and conditions for Maas in Queensland, Australia, the challenge which precipitated the development of the assessment framework, the principles which underly the framework, and describe the application and operation of the framework to delivering the Queensland MaaS vision
