National RTAP Active Shooter Preparedness Training for Rural Transit Systems

April 2 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

This webinar will provide an overview of the new National RTAP training: Active Shooter Preparedness, Mitigation, and Response Training for Rural Transit Systems. Comprised of two courses, one for Operations Personnel and one for Management, the training is available in eLearning and hardcopy manual formats. There is also an Instructor PPT, Participant Guides, and videos available on discs, thumb drives, and YouTube.

The training presents general concepts, hypothetical situations, and recommendations based on best practices related to active shooter preparedness, threats, and incidents. This course will help rural and tribal transit agencies be better prepared to prevent or respond to active shooter incidents effectively.

This webinar - presented by Seth Oberman, Skye Interactive, and Scott Zadakis, National RTAP - will provide an overview of the course, introduce the core training concepts, show how to access and utilize the different formats, and demonstrate the interactive features. NOTE: This will not be a full delivery of course content.

The course is available at https://elearning.nationalrtap.org/ and https://www.nationalrtap.org/Resource-Center/Resource-Library.

National RTAP is committed to providing equal access to this webinar. If you need alternative formats or services, email info@nationalrtap.org at least 7 business days in advance so we can best assist you.
