NCMM- Mobility Management Connections: Virtual Summit – DAY 1

March 19 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm EDT

Let us delve into the state network of Mobility Managers (MMs) and their operational functions, sources of funding for MMs and associated programs, highlighting specific programs across different regions, established community partnerships, the pivotal role of MMs in your region or state, and emphasizing individual region presentations. We will also explore building a comprehensive Mobility toolbox with innovative tools to enhance transportation access, fostering CCAM agency collaborations, and conducting learning sessions on Mobility Managers encompassing reporting, job descriptions, federal funding mechanisms, TA Center resources consolidation, and certifications. The National Rural Transit Assistance Program is dedicated to meeting the training and technical support needs of rural and tribal transit operators across the nation and supporting state RTAP programs. Equiticity envisions establishing a mid-to large-size U.S. city that fully integrates racial equity at all levels of policy and operations, aiming to serve as a global model for prioritizing racial equity to enhance communities. The Jackson Medical Mall Foundation manages the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center, providing health programs, community services, and economic opportunities for Mississippi residents. The MAG Transportation Ambassador Program (TAP) aims to connect individuals to transportation services, with a focus on inclusivity for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and those with limited incomes. The program seeks to empower participants by providing access to various resources and training opportunities. The Wisconsin Association of Mobility Managers (WAMM) strives to lead in coordinated mobility solutions and support professionals in the field through educational events and resource sharing. In rural states like Mississippi, reliable transportation is essential for access to necessary services.
