Join FTA at a November 2 webinar to learn about a temporary, partial waiver of Buy America for vans and minivans used to provide vanpool service. The waiver makes certain partially compliant vehicles eligible for funding. The waiver will last two years, or until a fully compliant vehicle becomes available, whichever is sooner.

FTA also will discuss changes coming for construction materials purchases. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law requires Federal grants for infrastructure projects to begin applying Buy America to construction materials. DOT temporarily waived this new requirement until November 10, 2022, and the DOT waiver is set to expire soon.
