Across the country, the COVID-19 pandemic hit many industries hard, public transportation among them. Every public transit system in the country was affected by stay-at-home orders. At times it felt like commuting would become a thing of the past.
But rather than making public transportation irrelevant, this pandemic revealed just how much we need it for our society to function.
