An on-demand transportation program will soon be offering services in Albemarle, Fluvanna, Louisa, Greene and Nelson counties as well as Charlottesville. According to a release, the Charlottesville Office of Economic Development awarded more than $180,000 from the Virginia Transit Association in August 2020. The funding will go to help people in the area who need rides for job training and employment purposes.
