The City of Richmond Transportation Department and Charge Up Contra Costa launched an electric vehicle (EV) car share program operated by Miocar at a National Drive Electric Week event today at the Richmond Civic Center.
Richmond residents can affordably rent 100 percent electric Chevy Bolts on an hourly or daily basis either online or through Miocar Networks’ mobile app, per the City. The EVs can be rented for $4 per hour or $35 per day, with insurance, roadside assistance and vehicle maintenance included in the price.
