Social Equity Transit Pass to launch in ONT, Canada

City council has approved a new Social Equity Transit pass that will service both Ontario Works and Ontario Disability Support Program clients. The new pass has been developed between the city’s transit department and social services to create a program that aims to provide some relief to social service clients by providing them with a 50 per cent discount on posted transit rates.
